The leftists are using threats and cancelation to force everyone to either believe or pretend to believe in a wacko liberal narrative that purports to cancel democracy, rights, the Constitution, the Founders, patriotism, the true American history, our freedom of speech, our freedom of the press, our freedom to bear arms, conservative freedom of speech on social media, academic freedom, freedom of privacy, republicanism, and many more. Since those who reject their fascist tactics get canceled, a great many in the media, in academia, and in Hollywood reject these radical ideas, but they cannot risk others knowing this as the consequence would be cancelation and loss of livelihood. This ugly blackmail is the exact opposite of the way a democracy is supposed to work, as you know. These are fascist tactics, often employed in the early 20th century. Even if you are liberal, if you aren't scared by all this, you need to read history books and understand the nature of the emergency ASAP. If the Venezuelans had done so, they'd have prevented degenerating from the richest country in South America to a poor and miserable basket case overnight.
